Run/Boot Camp

New class!  Starts Tuesday, September 27th

These classes are designed to ramp up your cardio or help jump start your running program. Rita Foss, FOR’s esteemed running coach, will lead this new class. Anyone can participate; however, the class will be geared toward training for the “Hot Chocolate 15/5K” event at the National Harbor on December 3rd. Each week, the Tuesday class will be 50 minutes of a combination of running and strength training. Rita will include over 30 minutes of interval training, hill work and overall speed training and around 15 minutes of strength training. The Saturday session will focus on longer, endurance training runs. Participants will be grouped according to pace. All levels are welcome. Fall is a great time to run, so come on out!
