Julio

Julio originally came to DC from the Dominican Republic to pursue his Masters in International Law at George Washington University, which he received in 2009.   Julio has been submerged in the fitness world for over 13 years, specializing in Nutrition, Personal Training and Group Classes such as Spinning or Indoor Cycling, Circuit Training and Boot Camp.  He is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is CPR Certified.

Julio has spent most of his life balancing both his Law profession and Fitness and believes everyone should somehow try to integrate exercise into their own lives, no matter how busy or hectic life is.  Having been overweight himself, Julio understands the mental, emotional and physical challenges and sacrifices that one must go through in order to achieve a fit and healthy lifestyle.

Favorite Place to Workout: The white, sandy beaches of the DR.
Favorite Exercise: The “Javorek Complex Conditioning Circuit”: (6 x DB Upright Rows) + (6 x DB High Pull Snatch) + (6 x DB Squat Push Press) + (6 x DB Bent Over Row) + (6 x High Pull Snatch).
Greatest Challenge: Running a 10K in just under 40 minutes.
