MELT
MELT is a self-treatment technique adopted from manual therapy that rehydrates connective tissue and rebalances the nervous system with specially designed balls and rollers. The technique addresses seemingly mysterious aches and pains in the body and can help with minor sleep and digestive issues. Connective tissue becomes dehydrated by physical and emotional stress, which includes work and working out, and is the medium through which the body communicates. MELT is therefore appropriate for all populations.
We are thrilled that our very own Jonica Tramposch is the only fully certified MELT instructor in the Washington, DC area.
We are offering a FREE 55 minute MELT class on
Saturday, March 13th at 11:00 AM.
The MELT Workshop Class will be Saturday, March 20th at 11:00 AM. The cost is $20 for the class.

WELLNESS SERIES ~ a Monthly Focus on
Women’s Health Issues
Fitness on the Run is starting a monthly WELLNESS SERIES with a focus on women’s health issues. The topic for March will focus on Female Pelvic Health: A Current Perspective. If you have questions, issues or want to learn more, please come on Wednesday, March 17th at 7:00 pm to hear Dr. Alok Desai, a medical doctor who specializes in women’s health issues. More details are to follow, but we wanted to make you aware so that you can reserve this date/time on your calendar. The cost is $10 per person. Space is limited.

Boot Camp/Circuit Training

This small group circuit style training class is appropriate for all levels of fitness and ages. Get personal attention AND group camaraderie in 55 minutes of a great workout including resistance training and cardiovascular activity.

Kettlebells are like iron cannonballs with handles. Classes provide an intense technique in which your whole body works together, creating an effective workout in a short period of time.
