Andrew HoltzAndrew Holtz has been full-time fitness professional since 2000, with extensive experience in the fields of corporate fitness, wellness and recreational/amateur sports. Fitness and athletics have been a lifelong interest to Andrew and his passion for this field has made him a popular and sought-after personal trainer. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education/Sports Management (2000) from Wesley College where he was a student-athlete on the Wesley Wolverine football team. He has been an American Council of Exercise (ACE) certified Personal Trainer since 2002 and added his (ACE) Certified Advanced Health and Fitness Specialist (former CES) certification to his tool belt during early 2008.

Presently, Andrew splits his time between Fitness on the Run and SPARK Physiotherapy, where he works with clients on physical therapy. Andrew has demonstrated an ability to create effective individual training sessions in addition to leading dynamic group classes. Andrew is heavily involved in fitness programming within the community to benefit youth, adult and amateur sports organizations in the metro area. In his spare time, he officiates high school/youth football games. Andrew offers a practical approach to fitness and wellness and challenges all to strive for an optimal state of wellness above anything else. Intensity, expertise and passion are staples to any group fitness program he leads!

Greatest Challenge: Completing the Tough Mudder Challenge – Wintergreen, VA in October 2011. Four hours of TOUGH FUN WITH BUDS!

Exercise Goal:

Run a sub 7 min mile, complete a sub 72 minute 10 miler, complete 2 Tough Mudders per year (sub 3:30hr)
