Cesar Ruano
Cesar discovered personal training while enlisted in the US NAVY in 1997. He completed his basic training in Great Lakes IL. While he spent time in “A” school in Great Lakes he received his( ACE) American Counsel on Exercise and (ISSA) International Sports Science Association personal training certifications. Later becoming a fitness coach at basic training in Great Lakes, IL. He was involved in getting all unfit recruits pass their basic training physical assessments. While working and finishing his B.S in Electrical Engineering he became an in home private personal trainer and he has been certified through (NASM) National Academy of Sports Medicine and also holds a Hard Style Kettlebell certification ( HKC).
He has been involved in sports and fitness all of his life since the age of 10 years of age. He has played soccer for many private teams overseas and while in school. Cesar has been involved in soccer youth coaching for various counties in the MD area.
He has been involved in the development and operations of many successful personal training departments throughout several commercial gyms in the DC, MD, VA area.
Cesar’s main belief is that everyone should be able to enjoy the benefit of a well balanced healthy life style. “Our bodies are amazing computers that can assimilate any type of movement pattern and adapt to them; something very unique that no other super computer will ever do. The human body is capable to achieve anything.”
He’s been able to help many people with various fitness goals and many different challenges by showing that each body is unique and everyone needs to be challenged at their own pace.
Favorite Exercises:
Squatting, dead lifting, KB snatches.
Greatest Challenges:
Swimming for his very first time and treading water fully-clothed (US-NAVY).
Exercise Goal:
100 KB snatches + 100 burpees under 5 minutes.
