Mistie Cottrill

Mistie CottrillMistie Cottrill is a mother of two whose passion is guiding and motivating people toward fitness and balance.  She’s much more than the sum of her credentials: Mechanical Engineer, triathlon winner, telecommuting MBA & business consultant, accomplished yogi, black-diamond skier, surfer, military wife, NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. As a trainer it is my goal “To show people how wonderful it can be to live a fit, healthy life, and how they can balance it in their own busy lives.”

Mistie’s background in fitness goes back to youth swimming and soccer, which led to a successful run as a Division I collegiate swimmer.  The dedication to health and fitness demanded by her collegiate program taught Mistie just how important staying in shape is, and what it takes to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  These days she feels most at home in the mountains mixing enjoyment with exertion, a formula that she believes “takes years of experimentation in a variety of outdoor laboratories to perfect.”
