Rita Foss
Running Coach, Personal Trainer
Sports have always played a major roll in Rita’s life and have enabled her to push herself harder and obtain her more challenging goals. She is an avid year-round runner and has competed in many five-kilometer races, ten-milers, and marathons. Rita also enjoys playing in a coed soccer league and swimming indoors when the weather does not cooperate. Other activities include biking, rowing, kayaking, and rock climbing. Rita is a mother of three children (four if you count her husband). Through personal training, Rita will focus on all aspects of your health – body composition, endurance, strength, flexibility, and nutrition. The absence of any of these compromises obtaining complete health.
She believes change comes naturally – the best way to change your look and feel is through the natural step of focusing on what you eat and how you train to burn that fuel.
Rita holds a BS, in Psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington and a MS in Information Systems from George Washington University. She is a certified personal trainer with the National Personal Training Institute and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She also is a certified nutritionist with the National Personal Training Institute and certified First Aid and CPR with the American Red Cross.
