Roth Cosner
Roth Cosner is passionate about the science of exercise and its associated health benefits. As a Healthcare Specialist with the US Army, Roth gained valuable experience in the areas medicine and health, and he continues to build on that expertise in his fitness training. He believes that incorporating a well-thought-out fitness plan into your daily routine is the first step to living a fit life.
Roth has Crossfit Level 1 Certification, Crossfit Movement & Mobility Certification, Crossfit Rowing Certification, Crossfit Football Certification, USA Weightlifting Level One Sport Performance Coach, TRX Suspension Training, American Heart Association CPR. He is a candidate for certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Hardstyle Kettlebell (HKC) Certification.
Roth lives in Alexandria with his wife, Cristina (also a trainer at Fitness on the Run), and their two daughters.
Favorite Exercise: Olympic lifting, overhead squats.
Greatest Challenge: getting back in shape after “letting himself go” following military service.
Exercise Goal: to complete King Kong, a workout that involves 3 rounds of 1 deadlift at 455 pounds, 2 muscle ups, 3 squat cleans at 250 pounds, 4 handstand push ups.
Favorite Place to Exercise: anywhere loud and hot
