Al’s interest in fitness started back in 2001, during his college years. Since then his interest and knowledge in fitness has led him to having a career as a Training Instructor. Currently he possesses a SFG Level 1 certification, CrossFit Level 1 certificate, and has successfully completed both Level 1 and Level 2 in the EXOS (formerly known as Athlete’s Performance) tactical mentorship program. He has aspirations to achieve his SFG Level 2 certification, CrossFit Level 2 certificate, and many specialty certificates in both SFG and CrossFit. Al believes strongly in the “Fit for Life” philosophy and has a passion for assisting others in their journey to being Fit for Life.

Al graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Criminal Justice and a minor in Legal Studies. He has played rugby for both his college team and for NOVA Rugby. He runs in various obstacle course races every year. He has run in the Army Ten-Miler, and is planning complete an IronMan Triathlon in the future.
