A native Louisianan, Andre grew up outdoors fishing, water skiing and playing team sports with her family, friends, club and high school teams. She always has led a healthy and physically active lifestyle, which is why she turned her passion into her career.

Andre earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA, in 2006. A handful of years later, she moved to Alexandria. She was a client at Fitness on the Run in 2014 where she was introduced to hard style kettlebells. She was in love. About six months later, she was so hooked that she knew she had to make a career change. She approached the owners of FOR about becoming a personal trainer and they welcomed her with open arms.

Andre’s certifications include Personal Trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine; StrongFirst Level 2 Kettlebell Instructor; and CPR-AED Certification.
Andre won’t stop learning and growing as a personal trainer to better educate her clients on leading healthier lifestyles.

Andre’s favorite exercise: Swings, Turkish get-up and double jerk.

Andre’s favorite place to exercise: My Trainer’s garage!
Andre’s stress relief: A long walk by myself without any music or phone interruptions. Or, an intense kettlebell workout.
Andre’s greatest fitness challenge: StrongFirst kettlebell certification weekend.
Andre’s biggest food challenge: Eating clean on the weekends.
Andre’s rise and shine: I try to go to bed no later than 10:30PM and wake up between 5AM and 6AM.
Andre’s wellness lesson learned this year: To rest!!! When I’m not feeling like myself, I try to take it as easy as possible. I used to push through the day, workouts etc. and never stop. Now, when I have a few minutes here and there I try to relax and enjoy the downtime.
