Heather recently boomeranged back to the Washington D.C. area from California where she worked in politics. Upon her return to the D.C. area, Heather decided to step away from “the desk” and follow her passion for helping people through health and fitness.
Heather specializes in HIIT workouts that are challenging, dynamic, and fun. She guarantees that you will get a killer workout and laugh your abs off while doing it.
Heather was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Communication and holds a Master’s in Strategic Communication from Purdue University. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband and chasing after their two toddler boys.
Fun Fact about Heather: One reason Heather started instructing classes was to get over her fear of public speaking! Heather holds the following certifications: Certified HKC Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer and Certified in Nutrition (NPTI), Certified PIYO Instructor and CPR/AED

Greatest food challenge: Self-control when it comes to enjoying almond/peanut butter.
Heather’s rise and shine: I get up as early as 4:30 am to workout, get a power hour of work completed, and enjoy my breakfast before my kids get up.
Heather’s wellness lesson learned this year: Metabolic damage is real and our bodies need fuel. I’ve learned the importance of eating several balanced meals throughout the day to properly fuel my body.
